The 2022 season was a huge turnaround campaign for the Giants. And now, one year after making two Top-10 picks, Big Blue finds themselves towards the back end of the first round heading into the 2023 NFL Draft.

After making the playoffs in Brian Daboll's first season as head coach, there's still plenty of work to do for GM Joe Schoen and the front office.

With that in mind, here’s who some of the experts have the Giants selecting in their latest mock drafts...

Michael Renner, Pro Football Focus

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Ohio State)

Head coach Brian Daboll has been a master at scheming to talent, and in the right role, there may be no better receiver in this class to scheme to than Smith-Njigba. He is nearly unguardable on option routes over the middle of the field and can easily take on a Cooper Kupp– or Amon-Ra St. Brown-esque slot role.

Walter Football

WR Zay Flowers (Boston College)

The Giants don't have much at receiver, especially after trading Kadarius Toney. Daniel Jones needs more help.

Zay Flowers is a small receiver, but can go the distance whenever he touches the ball.

Todd McShay, ESPN

WR Zay Flowers (Boston College)

I really like Flowers' skill set. He's elusive in the open field and has the speed to separate from coverage. Last season, he caught 78 balls for 1,077 yards and 12 TDs while forcing a bunch of missed tackles.

WR Quentin Johnston (TCU)

It's looking more and more like the Giants and Daniel Jones are going to agree to some sort of extension. To truly know if he's the franchise quarterback, they have to surround him with high-caliber skill players. Quentin Johnston has the size, strength and speed to make plays down the field for New York.

CB Devon Witherspoon (Illinois) (projected trade up to No. 22)

If the Giants find a receiver in free agency, I could see them jumping ahead of the Vikings to grab a corner like "Spoon" to fortify the secondary. He's as competitive as they come, harassing receivers all day long, drawing flags and breaking up passes. New York trades the 25th overall selection and a third-rounder to Baltimore to move up three spots (The Giants get a sixth-round pick, as well).

Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN

WR Jordan Addison (USC)

Addison put up huge numbers at Pitt in 2021 before dealing with some injuries at USC, and he has the versatility to play outside or in the slot. He just knows how to get open. New York also will get back rookie second-rounder Wan'Dale Robinson, who flashed before tearing an ACL.

Lance Zierlien, NFL.com

LB Trenton Simpson (Clemson)

Simpson has extremely rare speed as a linebacker. The Giants know they need to put players on the field who can run and chase the Eagles for years to come.
