Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family just bought a candy company, Candy Funhouse
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been known to munch on candy on the sidelines of Bucks games. We're guessing it's all going to be from the same place next year.
Putting his newly established Ante Inc. to work, the Antetokounmpo brothers have become major stakeholders in Candy Funhouse, a Canadian brand that recently launched an American website and is looking for a more global footprint.
"It doesn't matter how you are; candy brings joy," Giannis said in a YouTube video announcing his new venture. "I'm so excited to give joy to a lot of people around the world. Obviously, I hope I give people joy with the things I do on the court, but it's so exciting to do things off the court and bring joy to people."
"We are extremely excited and honored to have Giannis and the Antetokounmpo family, owners of Ante Inc., join the Candy Funhouse team as owners and collaborators," said Candy Funhouse CEO Jamal Hejazi in a release. "At Candy Funhouse we strive to spread joy through memorable experiences, and with his example of hard work, and dedication to spread positivity, Giannis embodies exactly what the Candy Funhouse brand stands for. Which is why we could not be more thrilled to have the Antetokounmpos represent our brand."

Candy Funhouse bills itself as an online distributor offering "everything from retro classics to the latest TikTok trending candy – plus a huge celebrity following such as Drake, Chad Michael Murray, Jen Selter and more." The company emphasizes customized boxes of candy and its social media presence.
The endeavor comes just days after Giannis and his brothers announced the establishment of Ante Inc. to manage the Antetokounmpo business portfolio.
Their investments have included stakes in Nashville SC of Major League Soccer, the Milwaukee Brewers, as well as the establishment of the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation, not to mention his numerous partnerships like Nike.
"I have had success on the court, and I continue to work harder every day to get better, but I understand it is important to build success off the court as well," Giannis said on Twitter. "Ante, Inc. is just the beginning. My Family is building a business that we can be proud of. I have had the privilege of learning from professionals who understand what it means to build success off the court, and it’s time me and my Family begin to build that."
