A German football recruit made his way to Ames this past weekend for his second official visit of the process, and said the Cy-Hawk game experience was unlike anything he'd seen.

Bayern Munich Balwyn High School graduate Julius Welschof is a three-star recruit by Rivals with multiple P5 and G5 offers. He's being recruited by the Cyclones to play defensive end.

Welschof recently graduated from his high school and is now a part of the work force. Shortly after graduating last spring, he decided to pursue a college football career and education overseas with the help of Premiere Players International.

Welschof has already gotten Power-5 offers from Rutgers and Syracuse, plus G5 programs UConn, Eastern Michigan, Temple and UCF. He plans to enroll at his future school in December of 2017.

For more on Welschof's official visit and how the Cyclones stack up at this stage of the process, check out a more-detailed story on the ISU Confidential message board.
