GC Girls Basketball: Frost Lady Bears roll on Senior Night

Feb. 5—FROST — They have been on fire all season so it was no surprise to see the Frost Lady Polar Bears have a big game on Senior Night at home, where they rolled to a 68-37 victory over Rio Vista.

It was Frost's 25th win of the season. The Lady Bears play their final regular season game Tuesday at Hamilton. The Lady Bears trail first-place Hamilton by one game.

Brenda Manrriquez led the way with 26 points, four rebounds, six assists, 11 deflections and five steals to set the tone on both ends of the court.

Karlee Anderson had 15 points, three rebounds, five assists, eight deflections and three steals, Mackenzie Lee had 10 points, three rebounds, one assist, six deflections and three steals and Breelyn Dyer had nine points, three rebounds, three assists, 10 deflections, eight steals, a block and a charge.

Brynna Banks had eight points, six rebounds, two assists, nine deflections, six steals and took a charge. Averyn Surovik had two deflections and a steal and Rebekah Lopez had one rebound and one steal. Madelyn Shaw had an assists and Addison Calvin and Nayeli Carreon played well.
