Purdue clinching the outright Big Ten regular season championship with Tuesday's win in Champaign didn't make Illinois' regular season finale at meaningless. There's still NCAA tournament seeding to play for, and another Quad I win wouldn't hurt the Illini's résumé.

Plus, it's Iowa.

The Hawkeyes might be the closest thing Illinois has to a rival in the Big Ten. Because it's not Northwestern (at least I don't think Illini fans feel like it is), and Indiana and Purdue have each other.

So a Sunday evening tip at Carver-Hawkeye Arena still has some juice. Especially with Iowa playing for its NCAA tournament life. The Hawkeyes are on the bubble, but on the wrong side of it. They could also use another Quad I win (plus another win or two in Minneapolis) next week.

Follow along all evening to find out which team gets the boost heading into the Big Ten tournament:
