Mar. 9—OMAHA, Neb. — Omaha swept UND for the first time in program history with a 4-1 victory Saturday in Baxter Arena. Backup goalie Seth Eisele stopped 38 of 39 shots for the Mavericks.

First star: Seth Eisele, Omaha, 38 saves.

Second star: Zach Urdahl, Omaha, 1 goal, 2 points.

Third star: Matt Miller, Omaha, 1 goal, 2 points.

Omaha 1, UND 0 — Zach Urdahl 10 (Jacob Guevin, Brock Bremer) 3:52 (pp). Omaha converts its first power-play chance of the game to take the initial lead. Urdahl shoots one from the right circle and it leads to a scramble. The puck trickles out to the weak side, where Guevin has a golden look. UND goaltender Ludvig Persson makes the impressive save, but Urdahl follows it up for his 10th goal of the season.

Omaha 2, UND 0 — Matt Miller 6 (Griffin Ludtke) 18:16. UND defenseman Garrett Pyke turns a puck over to Miller in the defensive zone. The puck gets back to the point, where Ludtke hammers one wide. The puck takes a long rebound off the end wall and Miller is waiting for it on the other side.

Omaha 3, UND 0 — Kirby Proctor 7 (Zach Urdahl) 1:19. Proctor launches a shot from just inside the blue line with traffic in front and it gets past Persson.

Omaha 3, UND 1 — Jayden Perron 11 (Jackson Blake, Jake Livanavage) 3:20 (pp). UND gets a five-on-three power play for :44 and takes advantage. Blake, at the top of the zone, sends a pass for Perron in the left circle. Perron hammers a one-timer past Omaha goalie Seth Eisele.

Omaha 4, UND 1 — Nolan Sullivan 7 18:02 (en). Sullivan scored into an empty net to seal the Omaha victory.
