The Razorbacks and Catamounts were originally scheduled to start at 3 p.m. from War Memorial Stadium. Predicted high temperatures and high humidity has moved kickoff time up three hours. Now the teams are scheduled to go at noon.
On Sunday the Arkansas soccer team saw its game against Notre Dame, in South Bend, altered because of the weather. High-school football games across Arkansas over the weekend, too, were changed because of intense heat and humidity.
The time change could only happen because the game is to air on ESPN+. The SEC’s agreement with ESPN is that games airing on that network can select their own kickoff times.
