  • Gabrielle Union posted a new photo to Instagram wearing a string bikini.

  • The actress shows off her seriously toned butt, which she works hard to maintain.

  • Gabrielle loves working out, and tries to stay consistent with her fitness routine for her physical and mental health.

Gabrielle Union, 47, is giving off some seriously good vibes, beach vibes that is. The actress is taking in the ocean view from a boat in her latest Instagram snap, and she is all smiles.

The background is gorgeous, with sparkling water and a sail boat on the horizon. The L.A.'s Finest star added three emojis to the caption to highlight the scenery: "🌊⛵🖤" But, tbh Gabrielle and her seriously toned bod are all I can pay attention to. She's wearing a multicolored string bikini and turned away from the camera so her fit booty is the focal point.

Gabrielle's strong bod only makes it look like she spends hours and hours in the gym, but she's all about an efficient sweat sesh (she's a mom and actress after all). In fact, most weeks she logs three 50-minute workouts. Most of that time goes to full-body strength training moves and only a fraction to cardio.

"I like to mix it up so I don’t get anxiety staring at the treadmill," she previously told Women's Health. "Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes."

As for her strong legs and glutes, she swears by traditional lower body moves. "There are some old faithfuls I’ve been doing my whole life: squats and lunges," she previously told Women's Health. "They’ve never really failed." Gabrielle also does weighted glute bridges with a heavy dumbbell in her home gym.

Working out is key for her mental health too. "I get to work out my aggression, my fears, my anxiety before I get to work or before my daughter wakes up," Gabrielle previously told Women's Health. "It brings me a level of peace that I wouldn’t otherwise have. I know when I don’t get my workout in, I notice it the most in my mood. I tend to have a lot more patience after I’ve worked out."

One thing's for sure, Gabrielle definitely knows what does and doesn't work for her.
