Would you ghost the one and only Gabrielle Union? If you answered “no,” congratulations: You’re officially wiser than the star’s prom date. In a hilarious TikTok posted this week, the actress revealed that even future icons aren’t immune to the pain of young love.

In the video, Union, 48, shared a prom photo (in which she looks incredible circa 1990) while lip-syncing to the song “Never Forget You” by the Noisettes. “Went to Prom with the ‘love of my life,’” the Bring It On star wrote over the picture. “Never seen nor heard from him since.”

“Cheers to #107 of 783 ‘Loves of my life’ 😅,” Union wrote in the caption. “The support group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays.”

All jokes aside, Union is all smiles in the video—clearly, she is now enjoying bigger and better things. The Being Mary Jane actress and her husband Dwyane Wade have been married for six years and together for over a decade, and both say they’re more tuned in to their relationship than ever.

“This is both of our second marriages, and we’re super transparent about that,” Union told People in an April cover story. “We didn’t do it right the first time around. There’s another way—to be more collaborative and equitable. We humble ourselves, listen, and we meet in the middle.” The duo share a 2-year-old daughter, Kaavia, and co-parent Wade’s three children from previous relationships.

“It’s about learning each other,” Wade said in the same interview. “It’s not my job to change who she is—it’s my job to be part of the evolution. In this partnership, there are times when I have to lead, times when I have to step back, and times where we are side by side. And I know when to shut up!”
