In July 2021, 22-year-old Gabby Petito set off from Florida on a cross-country van trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie. Two months later, Laundrie returned alone. He reportedly drove Petito’s van back across the country and arrived at his parents’ house in Florida on September 1st. According to Petito’s parents, they last heard from Gabby at the end of August and claim Laundrie never contacted them about his return – or to let them know that he was no longer with Gabby. “I’m trying to wrap my head around how Brian would drive across the country having left with your daughter and returning without her and not saying anything about it,” Dr. Phil says to Gabby’s father, Joseph Petito, on Monday’s episode. Hear Joseph’s response in the video above, including the questions he has for Laundrie -- who is now also missing -- about his and his parents’ behavior. And, Joseph shares about the last conversation he had with his daughter. On Monday’s episode, “Missing ‘Van Life’ Woman’s Father Speaks Out: The Dr. Phil Interview,” Joseph shares his thoughts about his daughter’s disappearance – and his gut feeling about the situation.
