Frustrated Steph kicks chair as Warriors struggle vs. Rockets originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

The Warriors were supposed to feast against the Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets during a back-to-back at Chase Center before the seven-game homestand gets tougher. That isn't happening and the frustration is evident.

Steph Curry was visibly upset with his teammates in the fourth quarter of the loss to the Pacers on Thursday, and on Friday, he took out his anger on a chair on the Warriors' bench.

Curry had just made a shot to cut the Rockets' lead to 63-57 when Houston called a timeout. When he got back to the bench, the chair kick occurred.

In addition to the Warriors' struggling to find any momentum, Curry was having a tough time making any shots. He had just six points on 1-of-9 shooting in the first half against the Rockets. Things got a little bit better for the reigning NBA scoring champ in the third quarter as he went 3-of-6 and added 11 points to his total.

The Warriors have hit a rough patch over the last few weeks. After starting the season 29-7, they are 3-6 over their last nine games entering Friday's contest.

With Draymond Green expected to miss several more games with a calf tightness and a disc issue in his lower back, the Warriors are going to have to figure out how to win games without his energy and leadership.

Maybe Curry's kick of the chair is the spark the Warriors need.
