The cancelation came hours after Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal was ruled out of the Olympics after being placed in health and safety protocols on Wednesday. Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant also has been placed in protocol.

The USA, which lost its first two exhibitions before defeating Argentina on Tuesday, was looking to avenge Monday's 91-83 loss to Australia.

Team USA is scheduled to conclude its exhibition schedule on Sunday against Spain in Las Vegas. The team departs for Tokyo on Monday.
