Francisco Lindor homered, drove in four runs and Brandon Nimmo was on base five times with a pair of triples and three walks as the Mets topped the Rockies 5-2. Starter Max Scherzer turned in his best performance of the season, striking out eight and allowing just a single run over seven innings. Adam Ottavino came on to shut the door in the ninth with the tying run at the plate.
