Four-star LB target Raul Aguirre moves up commitment date

·1 min read

June was a month filled with visits and it looks like July will be a month loaded with commitments. One such player that is taking that approach is four-star linebacker, Raul Aguirre.

Aguirre took to Twitter late Saturday night to inform everyone that he would be moving his commitment date up to Tuesday, July 12.

The Fayetteville, Georgia native took his official visit to Tuscaloosa on June 10 but was also on an unofficial visit with Nick Saban and the Tide in April.

Currently, Aguirre does not have any crystal balls on 247Sports, but according to On3’s RPM, Alabama has the best chance at landing Aguirre’s commitment at 52.6%. But Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes are in a close second at 38.1%.

At this point, it looks like a two-team race for the talented linebacker. You could make the argument that Cristobal and Miami are as hot as anyone on the recruiting trail at the moment, but it is also wise to never count out Saban and the Tide.
