Four-star defensive lineman includes Auburn in top 10 schools

·1 min read

Auburn is looking to build on the momentum of landing four-star running back Jeremiah Cobb on Monday.

They got more good news on the recruiting trail Monday when four-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall included Auburn in his top 10 schools.

Hall, who is from Jacksonville, Florida, included Auburn, Oregon, LSU, Miami, South Carolina, Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia, USC, and Florida.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Hall has a massive frame but still possesses a great first step and can quickly get into the backfield to blow up a play. Due to his size and speed, he can play multiple positions along the line depending on what the play calls for.

He is ranked as the No. 156 overall recruit and No. 21 defensive lineman in the 247Sports Composite ranking. He is also the No. 32 player from Florida.

In the 2021 high school season, he made 30 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and 5.0 sacks in just nine games for Westside High School, per 247Sports. He also competes in track and field, primarily as a thrower.

The Tigers currently have three recruits in their 2023 recruiting class and are still looking for their first defensive lineman.
