Fort Hill wrestling defeats Allegany 45-33

Jan. 24—CUMBERLAND — Fort Hill's wrestling team defeated Allegany 45-33 on Monday in South Cumberland.

Of the matches that did not end in a forfeit, all but two were decided by pins.

In the 106-pound class, Fort Hill's Amy Tressler pinned Auston Wempe at the 1:25 mark.

Allegany's Noah Filer pinned Owen Walker at the 2:17 mark in the 113-pound class.

Mason Day of the Campers pinned Brianna Lavelle at the 1:22 mark in the 120-pound class.

Fort Hill's Jake Rice pinned Madison Mongold at 1:09 in the 126-pound class.

Alco's DJ Riley won the 132-pound class, pinning Chloe Williams in 3:10.

Wade Napier from the Campers won by pin in the 138-pound class over Olivia Heavner at the 4:54 mark.

Allegany's Jesse Lambert IV pinned Evan Schell at the 5:21 mark of the 144-pound class.

Liam Warner and Colton Wharton won by forfeit for the Sentinels in the 150- and 157-pound classes.

Jaylan Atkinson of the Sentinels pinned Kason Sims at the 2:51 mark in the 165-pound class.

Allegany's Luke Foose took the 175-pound class with a 9-5 decision over Nick Willison.

In 190, Fort Hill's Bryson Metz defeated Sundiata Chavis in a 5-1 decision.

In the 215-pound class, Wyatt Walker from the Sentinels pinned Amanni Blowe at the 3:01 mark.

In the 285-pound class, Fort Hill's Carter Hess only needed 19 seconds to pin William Barb.

Allegany hosted Southern on Wednesday evening and Fort Hill hosts Williamsport on Friday.
