The Korea Baseball Organization kicked off its season Tuesday afternoon and a familiar face claimed his first win as a manager in the league: Matt Williams.

Williams, who claimed an NL East championship and NL Manager of the Year honor in 2014 for the Washington Nationals, took over as manager of the Kia Tigers this season.

The Tigers downed the Kiwoon Heroes 8-5 Thursday, making Williams the third American-born manager to win in the KBO.

Nationals fans most remember Williams from pulling Jordan Zimmermann in Game 2 of the NLDS against the San Francisco Giants ... but those days are far behind you, right Nats fans?
