Three former University of Tennessee basketball players competed in the NBA summer league Sunday. Two former Vols started, while two players competed against each other in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brooklyn won its first summer league game, defeating the 76ers, 91-84.

Jaden Springer started for Philadelphia and played 26 minutes. He recorded nine points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Yves Pons appeared in the contest for the Nets and played seven minutes. He recorded two points and two rebounds.

Memphis defeated Minnesota, 70-63. Kennedy Chandler started and played 28 minutes for the Grizzlies. He recorded nine points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.
