One former University of Tennessee basketball player was in action Monday. Three others were either inactive or did not play for their respective teams.

In Boston, Grant Williams scored two points for the Celtics in their 108-90 victory over Houston at TD Garden.

Williams came off the bench to play 25 minutes and was 1-for-2 from the floor. He had five rebounds, four assists and one blocked shot.

Williams’ teammate Josh Richardson was inactive due to a non-COVID-19 related illness.

In Utah, Memphis defeated the Jazz, 119-118, at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City. Grizzlies’ rookie Yves Pons was inactive.

In Sacramento, Philadelphia outlasted the Kings, 102-94, at Golden 1 Center.

Tobias Harris missed the game for the 76ers with hip soreness and rookie Jaden Springer was inactive for Philadelphia.
