It's been 481 days since UMBC became the first 16-seed to topple a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament, but who's counting?
Probably Ty Jerome.
The No. 24 pick in this year's NBA Draft was sporting a UMBC men's basketball T-shirt while sitting courtside for Suns vs. Grizzlies Summer League action.
Except the former UVA guard added his own twist, proudly slapping "Virginia" right-to-left across the letters 'UMBC.' Within the 'Supreme' style white lettering was the title "Championship 2019 SHIRT" in black lettering.

He clarified he wasn't trolling.
Not a UMBC troll. Nothing but respect for them. About owning up to it & how we responded 🤷🏽♂️ https://t.co/JtRTOsdD8m

Jerome hasn't played since the National Championship on April 8th. Since he was initially drafted by the Boston Celtics then traded to Pheonix, he had to wait for the completion of the Aron Baynes trade before officially joining the Suns.
Yesterday was the first live action Jerome was eligible to play in, but he has yet to practice with the team. It appears he's having just as much fun off the court in the interim.
I AM THE PROSPECT:
Even at NBA Summer League, UVA's Ty Jerome hasn't forgotten about UMBC originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
