Former USA Gymnastics women’s coach Terry Gray was arrested in Las Vegas on Friday and charged with 14 counts of lewdness with a child under 14, according to The Orange County Register’s Scott Reid.

Gray had already been suspended from coaching gymnastics for two years by the U.S. Center for SafeSport for sexual misconduct with a minor.

The arrest reportedly stems from alleged incidents at Brown’s Gymnastics in Las Vegas, whose site boasts about producing numerous gymnasts on U.S. international teams. The incidents, which reportedly involve three victims, allegedly took place in 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2013.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the arrest on Saturday and said it is seeking additional victims.

Gray’s case drew heavy Congressional criticism for USA Gymnastic in 2018, per Reid. Senators reportedly grilled then-USA Gymnastics president Kerry Perry about why Gray was allowed to keep training girls at a gym in Temecula, California, when he was provisionally suspended while under investigation for sexual misconduct by SafeSport. The terms of his suspension reportedly forbade “unsupervised contact with minors.”

Gray had reportedly worked under Olympic team coach Mary Lee Tracy at Cincinnati Gymnastics, coaching Morgan White, who qualified for the 2000 U.S. Olympics team, as well as Alyssa Beckerman, an alternate on the team.
