Former Texas punter Ryan Bujcevski has officially found a new home.
Billy Embody of On3 Sports announced on Tuesday that Bujcevski has officially been added to SMU’s roster.
Rumors surfaced earlier this year that the Mustangs were the favorite to land the former Longhorn due to his relationship with new SMU special teams coordinator Craig Naivar, who served as Texas’ special teams coordinator from 2017-18.
The Australian punter started for the Longhorns the full 2018 season and received significant playing time in 2019 and 2020. He averaged 41.5 yards per punt throughout this collegiate career thus far.
