During the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game between Chicago and Jacksonville, Pierce broke off for a 23-yard run which set up the Bears for a first-and-goal from the Jaguars’ 3-yard line. Moments later, the former Oregon State star scored the first touchdown of his NFL career on a 3-yard carry.

The explosive play from the undrafted rookie gave the Bears a 41-10 edge over the Jaguars with 11:47 left in the game.

Pierce complemented the Bears run-heavy attack on Sunday, adding 26 yards on two carries for Chicago. The 24-year-old former Beaver signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent in April.
