Former Nets guard Mike James calls Steph Curry’s game one-dimensional

Former Brooklyn Nets guard Mike James sounded off on Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry’s style of play earlier this week, calling it “one-dimensional.”

Professional French basketball player James joined the Players Choice podcast, opening up on Curry. He said:

Steph, how he plays and how he gets stuff off, it’s just kinda one-dimensional at times. He’s not the primary ball-handler a lot, and for a point guard that kinda bothers me.

The former EuroLeaguer was discussing his top five players, which he didn’t include Curry on.

James was teammates with Kevin Durant and the two grew very close, he actually also talked to the podcast about Durant’s appearance overseas to attend James’ playoff campaign. He revealed that Durant may have already known the team was going to lose in the postseason.

He lists Durant, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic in his top-five players list.

“I think those other five can do whatever they want to do on any team in the world right now,” Mike James said.
