Former Kings announcer Grant Napear sues radio company, alleging wrongful termination

Grant Napear, the longtime broadcaster covering the Sacramento Kings who lost his job after tweeting “all lives matter,” has filed a lawsuit against his former radio employer as the new NBA season gets underway. The lawsuit against Utah-based Bonneville International Corporation, which owns KHTK 1140, requests a jury trial and that he be paid back lost and future wages and compensated for emotional distress in damages that exceed $75,000. Napear spoke to KCRA 3 about the lawsuit.
