Former Giants O-line coach Dave DeGuglielmo is heading down south to join Louisiana Tech, the university announced Friday.

SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reported that the Giants were looking elsewhere in their O-line coach search this offseason after DeGuglielmo's contract expired.

DeGuglielmo joined the Giants halfway through last season after Marc Colombo was let go by Joe Judge.

The Giants O-line was solid throughout the season and saw the likes of rookies Matt Peart and Shane Lemieux step up.

DeGuglielmo has also served as the O-line coach for the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots and New York Jets, as well as the assistant offensive line coach for the then-San Diego Chargers.

He has two Super Bowl rings, one in New York and one in New England.
