Penei Sewell says he wants to go early as possible in the draft originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

The NFL Draft is set to kick off tomorrow, and some players are just excited to hear their name called at some point during the night.

For Oregon Ducks Penei Sewell, he wants to hear his name called as early as possible.

Sewell sat down with Mike Florio from ProFootballTalk before his big night in Cleveland, Ohio, and spoke about how he wants to be drafted sooner rather than later.

“To be honest, I would like to hear my name called as early as possible,” Sewell told Florio.

You get to eliminate all the stress, and also have a team believe in me that I do deserve to get called early. All the hard work I put in I feel like I deserve it.

We are pretty sure Sewell will not have to worry about waiting long to hear his name called.

A lot of projected mock drafts have Sewell going as early as No. 5 to the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, some are also saying that Joe Burrow could be reunited with former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase.

All of which is still speculation of course.

Wherever Sewell ends up Thursday, it is highly unlikely the Oregon standout will not hear his name called before the top 10.
