Former Alabama walk-on WR Jacoby Boykins transferring to FCS program
Alabama walk-on wide receiver Jacoby Boykins announced on Monday he was transferring to Abilene Christian. He originally entered the transfer portal on Dec. 5.
Boykins released an impressive highlight tape after announcing his intentions to transfer. He was listed at 5-foot-11, 182 pounds coming out of high school, according to 247Sports.
He was unable to see playing time in Tuscaloosa; he was behind a star-studded wide receiver group. However, his tape clearly shows he has the potential to play at a high level. It will be interesting to see his role in the Wildcats’ offense for years to come.
Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Boykins’ college career as well as other former Alabama players that have transferred.
