The biggest story is an advisory for the mountains.
There will be a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Ashe and Watauga counties from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday.
You can expect a mix of sleet and freezing rain. There may be up to .1″ of accumulation.
Outside of the mountains, showers will be possible from midday to late Sunday afternoon.
It is not expected to be a washout but rather cool and gray with temperatures in the mid-50s.
