All five Fulton starters given NUIC South All-Conference Honors

Mar. 1—All five of the Fulton Steamer starters were named to the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference South Division All-Conference honors on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Baylen Damhoff was a unanimous selection to the All-Conference 1st Team as well as being named Player of the Year. He ends his incredible Fulton career as one of their All-Time leading scorers and even more accolades. Damhoff averaged 17.1 points per game, averaging nine rebounds and almost two steals per game.

New comer to the varsity squad, Landen Leu was a big part of the Steamers success as their number two scoring option. He also earned 1st Team honors and is still just a sophomore. Leu averaged nine points per game and 4.2 rebounds.

Dom Kramer was the lone 2nd Team member for the Fulton Steamers, working down low. He averaged 5.7 points per game, six rebounds and two assists per game.

Rounding out the All-Conference honors for the Steamers were Trevor Tiesman and Jimmy Crimmins, being recognized as NUIC South Honorable Mentions. Both seniors did their part with Crimmins becoming a spot up shooter from the corner. Tiesman averaged 6.1 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and was the one of the main ball handlers for Fulton.

Fulton ended their season 24-12 with a share of the conference title as well as a 1A Regional Title.
