The most concerning of these is perhaps Le'Veon Bell, who has swelling in his knee. Bell did not play at all in the fourth quarter against the Falcons in Week 16 after getting what Reid described as "banged up" on Sunday. With Edwards-Helaire already sidelined, possibly into the playoffs, any injuries at the RB position could be problematic. Returning to action for Kansas City on Wednesday in a limited capacity was LB Damien Wilson. He hasn't played since Week 13 due to a knee injury, so any progress made this week is a good sign in terms of playoff availability. Both Charvarius Ward and Mike Pennel popped up on the injury report this week but they both participated in full at practice. That indicates minor injuries that required treatment. Finally, Reid indicated that Dorian O'Daniel has been designated to return from injured reserve, opening his 21-day practice window. He hasn't been activated to the 53-man roster yet so the team is not required to report his practice status.

* DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related In total, the Chargers had 10 players who didn't participate in practice on Wednesday and three players who were limited. They appear to be even more beat up than the Chiefs are at the moment. Word out of Los Angeles last week was that Keenan Allen had a chance to play in Week 17, but now Chargers HC Anthony Lynn seems to indicate that Allen and star DE Joey Bosa won't play in the season finale. Status is in doubt for a number of the players not participating in practice, mainly because Week 17 amounts to an exhibition game.
