He also said that Anthony Hitchens didn't practice, but the team is not required to report his status as he's been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Hill's absence seems precautionary more than anything and he could return a full participant as early as tomorrow. Wilson has missed the past two games with a knee contusion now. Edwards-Helaire, of course, suffered ankle and hip injuries in Week 15. His status is up in the air, though Reid seemed optimistic, saying he was "ahead of schedule." Returning to practice was Mike Remmers, who missed Week 15 with a back injury. Eric Fisher was removed from the injury report entirely after battling through injuries to start at left tackle for the Chiefs on Sunday. Le'Veon Bell was listed as a full participant in practice with a knee injury, that bears monitoring considering the status of Edwards-Helaire.

* DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related The Falcons injury report looks like that of a team that is banged up after playing nearly a full season. Absent from practice was star wideout Julio Jones who missed Week 15 with a hamstring injury. That's not a good sign to start the week. Also absent was starting LG James Carpenter and starting C Alex Mack. That doesn't bode too well for Falcons QB Matt Ryan, who has been sacked the 11th most in the league this season. Atlanta also is dealing with a bunch of limited participants on the defensive side of the ball. Even if those players return to practice in full, it's hard to imagine they'll be at full strength against one of the top offenses in the league.
