Finally! Topgolf Knoxville tees up for Friday opening: 'Excited to welcome the community'

After eyeing Knoxville since 2017, national entertainment leader Topgolf will open a new location in Farragut on Friday.

Opening north of Interstate 40 across from Turkey Creek, Topgolf is a $20 million project in the making. This will be the third location in Tennessee.

The two-level driving range entertainment venue features 72 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, a full-service restaurant, outdoor patio, rooftop terrace and private event space.

Topgolf will utilize the Toptracer technology, which tracks golf balls and allows visitors to compete with games like Angry Birds and Jewel Jam.

Featuring two bars, a lounge area and plenty of golf-related games, the long-awaited attraction has been in the works for years, and it's almost time for Topgolf fans to hit the green.
