RB Le'Veon Bell | Knee | DNP | Questionable |
* DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has officially been cleared from the NFL's concussion protocols. He will start against the Bills in the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs did, however, rule out one Willie Gay Jr. as he's still dealing with a high ankle sprain. Five players including CBs Rashad Fenton and Bashaud Breeland have been designated as questionable for the game. If neither could play that would have the Chiefs dangerously short on cornerback depth heading into a game against a team that threw the ball nearly 40 times last week. Additionally, WR Sammy Watkins, who was drafted by Buffalo back in 2014, remains limited in practice and questionable heading into the game.

* DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related All players who were limited for the Bills in practice on Thursday returned to practice in full on Friday. The two players who were non-participants all week in Vernon Butler and Gabriel Davis have both been ruled questionable for the AFC title game after limited practices on Friday. Pay attention to Butler's status as the Bills defense surrendered nearly 250 rushing yards to the Chiefs in Week 6. As always check back on Saturday for any last-minute additions for either team.
