England captain Harry Kane has not been listed among the top 10 players in Fifa 19, despite winning the Golden Boot at the World Cup this summer.
Kane picked up the accolade for the leading scorer at the 2018 Fifa World Cup, netting six goals in England's run to the semi final. He also scored more than 40 goals for Tottenham in the 2017/18 season, but was only listed as the 17th best player in Fifa's rankings.
In the Fifa 19 player ratings, Kane is described as "an old-fashioned center forward... No matter what sort of goal chance Kane gets, his 90 Shooting rating shows that he can do something with just about any of them, from diving headers to distant volleys."
Other players to miss out on the top 10 include World Cup winners Antoine Griezmann and N'Golo Kante.
The player ratings have been posted to the EA Sports website in batches in the build up to the games release date, which is scheduled for 28 September.
Other surprises were the ranking of World Cup winner Paul Pogba and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, both of whom featured outside the top 30.
Premier League players have featured heavily in the Fifa 19 player ratings, however only three are expected to appear in the top 10.
By a process of deduction, it is possible to accurately predict the top 10 players yet to be listed by EA Sports.
They are: Eden Hazard, Sergio Ramos, Toni Kroos, Kevin de Bruyne, Luis Suarez, Neymar, David de Gea, Luka Modric, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Tuesday, Fifa announced details of the game's demo, which will be released two weeks ahead of the full game.
The demo mode, which allows players to access a limited number of teams and game modes, will be released on Thursday 13 September.
