Week 8’s Sunday action has come to a close, and (a bit unexpectedly) the Oakland Raiders showed life. After scoring 13 total points in crushing, back-to-back losses, Derek Carr and the offense put up 28 points. Our experts analyze that and much more on this week’s podcast. They also break down the Panthers demolition of the best defense in the league, along with Todd Gurley’s continued MVP-season, his decision not to score a sure TD as well as the stunning nature of Adrian Peterson’s fight against Father Time.

Our experts then hear your thoughts on players you are no longer going to bench after Week 8 (welcome back, Larry Fitzgerald).

They also offer up a couple of pickup options for Week 9 when Arizona, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, New York Giants, and Philadelphia will be on bye.
