DALTON DEL DON: The San Francisco 49ers have a couple of interesting fantasy questions, the first being, when will rookie Trey Lance take over at quarterback? With a loaded roster, good coaching, and a projected easy schedule, it's possible Jimmy Garoppolo starts longer than expected, but he's extremely injury-prone, and the rookie could just force his way into the lineup. I'm not sure when it will happen, but I will say, when it does, rookie Trey Lance will be an immediate top 10 fantasy QB, given his favorable situation and rushing ability.

The other question involving the Niners is the backfield. While Raheem Mostert has a legit top three, top five fantasy upside, he's also arguably the most likely player in the league to get injured. So enter rookie Trey Sermon, whose outside zone rushing skills seemingly fit perfectly in San Francisco, and he has that, quote, unquote, "league-winning" type upside, if and when he takes over the backfield. Bottom line, target both rookie Treys in the Bay.
