Fantasy football sizzlers, fizzlers: Atlanta Falcons' Kyle Pitts soaring to new heights

These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 7:

Sizzlers

RB D'Andre Swift, Detroit Lions: Perhaps quietly due to the team he is on, Swift has excelled as a fantasy option this season, primarily due to his combined usage as both a runner and a receiver. In a very tough matchup against an L.A. Rams team known for its defense, Swift rushed for a mere 48 yards but supplemented his fantasy day with eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown, making him the week’s top-scoring fantasy running back in many leagues.

TE Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons: It's taken time for the Falcons to adjust to life without Julio Jones, but they are starting to come around. Pitts, the much lauded fourth overall selection in the 2021 draft followed up a nine-catch, 119-yard performance in Week 6 with seven catches for 163 yards against Miami.

Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts set a season-high for receiving yards for the second consecutive game on Sunday with 163 yards on seven catches.

RB Damien Harris, New England Patriots: Without a viable backup, Harris should continue as the bell cow in New England, which not only wants to establish the ground game but also wants to help rookie quarterback Mac Jones succeed. Harris has now scored four touchdowns over his last three games with back-to-back 100-yard rushing efforts.

QB Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: A statement victory on the road over division rival Baltimore will get you noticed. Burrow threw for 416 yards and three touchdowns in a huge day for the up-and-coming Bengals.

QB Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins: Tagovailoa tried to rally the Dolphins, but fell just short, completing 32-of-40 passes for 291 yards and four touchdowns. If he wasn't added off the waiver wire last week, he should definitely be rostered across the board now.

Fizzlers

WR Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears: It is no secret that Chicago's passing game is struggling while rookie quarterback Justin Fields learns on the job. Robinson has been the primary victim of the reduced opportunities. Against a beat-up Tampa Bay secondary, Robinson was only able to muster two receptions for 16 yards.

WR Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos: In his worst game of the season, Patrick caught two balls for 16 yards against Cleveland. With Jerry Jeudy expected back next week, his opportunities appear numbered.

WR Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts: Granted the conditions were sloppy in San Francisco, but Pascal has faded down the stretch, even with all the additional opportunities he has received due to the various injuries to Colts receivers.

WR Odell Beckham, Cleveland Browns: OBJ once again struggled to get open with just two receptions for 23 yards. In and out of the lineup because of a shoulder injury, he has just 16 receptions in five games.

WR Robby Anderson, Carolina Panthers: The Carolina offense is struggling to find an answer right now and Anderson hasn't been it. His targets are voluminous -- 38 in his last four games -- but he has only caught 13 of them. At some point, he'll stop getting targets if he can't turn them into receptions.
