Fans are hoping the 'Young Rock' premiere is a tease for Dwayne Johnson's presidential run

Megastar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s new television series “Young Rock” premiered Tuesday night and viewers almost immediately thought it was awesome. The show is based on Johnson’s own experiences growing up, which are being conveyed under the premise of his future-self being interviewed.

Viewers on Twitter thought the show was phenomenal. As did former pro wrestlers, like The Iron Sheik, who loved seeing himself in the series’ flashback. In one tweet, he wrote, “This the best show on the earth.”

And while Johnson has hinted at a potential presidential bid in the past, in the series that’s exactly what he’s doing in the year 2032. So a lot of fans had fun with the idea that this series is actually the beginning of his real-life campaign.
