Falcons rookie tight end Kyle Pitts sat out of Wednesday’s practice but was a limited participant on Thursday. Pitts needs 58 yards against the Saints on Sunday to surpass Mike Ditka‘s record for most receiving yards by a rookie tight end.

Veteran running back Cordarrelle Patterson, tight end Lee Smith and rookie lineman Jalen Mayfield were each given the day off for rest. Check out Atlanta’s full Thursday injury report for Sunday’s NFC South finale against New Orleans.
