Falcons sign two more members of 2021 draft class

The Atlanta Falcons signed five of their nine selections from the 2021 NFL draft earlier in the week. On Thursday, the team got deals done with two more members of the class, inking both fourth-round picks Drew Dalman and Darren Hall.

Dalman, a center at Stanford, should help the Falcons transition from veteran Alex Mack, who left for San Francisco in the offseason. Matt Hennessy also figures to be in the mix, but Dalman will bring some much-needed competition to the center position.

Hall is defensive back from San Diego State. While some NFL analysts felt he was somewhat of a reach in the fourth round, the big-bodied corner should compete for time at a position of need. Outside of A.J. Terrell as the No. 1 CB, the Falcons have plenty of question marks in the secondary.

Atlanta still needs to sign first-round pick Kyle Pitts and second-rounder Richie Grant. With the cap space created from the Julio Jones trade, the team should be finalizing deals with their two remaining rookies any day now.
