Falcons release WR Jeff Badet from IR with injury settlement

The Atlanta Falcons waived/injured wide receiver Jeff Badet over a week ago but after clearing waivers, Badet landing back on the team’s injured reserve list. On Tuesday, the Falcons released Badet from the injured reserve with an injury settlement, per ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.

Badet, 27, played college ball at Oklahoma and bounced around the NFL until landing a spot on the XFL’s Dallas Renegades team. Following his XFL stint, Badet was with the Washington Football team before signing with the Falcons back in June.
