Shortly after releasing their first injury report of the year on Wednesday, the Atlanta Falcons named five players as this season’s team captains.

Quarterback Matt Ryan, wide receiver Calvin Ridley, offensive tackle Jake Matthews, linebacker Deion Jones and defensive lineman Grady Jarrett will be leading the way for Atlanta in 2021.

The Falcons open the season as 3.5-point favorites in their Week 1 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Atlanta released its unofficial depth chart for this weekend’s season opener and both tight end Kyle Pitts and outside linebacker Dante Fowler were in the starting lineup.
