Falcons have interviewed Brian Flores for DC opening
The Atlanta Falcons have interviewed Steelers senior defensive assistant Brian Flores for their defensive coordinator vacancy, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.
Flores, 41, previously served as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins for three seasons before his controversial firing in 2021.
Prior to his three-year stint as head coach in Miami, Flores worked under Bill Belichick in New England for over a decade as a safeties coach, linebackers coach and defensive assistant.
The Falcons have also interviewed veteran defensive coach Vic Fangio, Panthers interim defensive coordinator Al Holcomb, and Packers passing game coordinator Jerry Gray is also believed to be in the mix.
