This expansive Colorado estate once owned by Broncos quarterback is for sale: $7.75M

A remodeled, 11,000-square-foot Colorado home, which was previously owned by former Denver Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer and “transformed into a modern masterpiece,” is on the market for $7.75 million, according to Sotheby’s International Realty.

The estate sits at 6 Sunrise Drive, Cherry Hills Village, in a highly desirable neighborhood not far from downtown Denver. The residence unfolds across an open-concept living area with 20-foot ceilings, a custom floor-to-ceiling fireplace, seven bedrooms and nine full bathrooms.

On the beautifully landscaped grounds of the 2.86-acre resort-like property are a tennis court, full basketball court, huge outdoor living space and swimming pool.

“Stunning contemporary finishes” are found throughout the interior, according to the listing, but three gorgeous features jump out.

First, a transparent quartzite natural stone backlit bar, with Dekton slabs, and 120-bottle temperature-controlled wine cellar highlights an expansive lower-level basement. The listing calls the vibe “exotic.”

Second, the primary suite is an impressive 1,500 square feet with a 600-square-foot custom closet and spa-inspired en-suite bath.

Third, the ultra-modern kitchen is perfect for entertaining with dual Dekton islands, state-of-the-art appliances and a butler’s kitchen.

Anna Savier, listing agent with Kelly Steron of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, offered her own favorite features.

“The dramatic wall of windows throughout the main level draws in the natural light along with expansive ceilings to create an effortless, airy ambiance in the home,” Savier said in a news release. “The primary suite offers a true space to relax with a private patio overlooking the pool and amazing Southwest-facing views.”

The home last sold in December 2021 for $3.225 million, according to public records.

After playing for Arizona State in college, Plummer was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He spent his first six seasons with the Cardinals before finishing his 10-year NFL career with the Denver Broncos. The Boise, Idaho, native made the Pro Bowl in 2005.
