Exhibition crowd will be something to behold Saturday
Bud Walton Arena has long been renowned for its atmosphere.
Just as recently as February 2022, fans rushed the court as the Razorbacks knocked off No. 1 Auburn 80-76 in overtime in front of 20,327 fans, which set the school record that had stood since 1997.
The now 30-year old arena has had plenty of 20,000-plus crowds in its history, but only four this millennium. LSU in 2005 and Kentucky in both 2001 and 2005, along with the aforementioned Auburn game.
"It might be the greatest college basketball exhibition crowd ever."

The marketing for the game has been crazy on social media, with Musselman and the basketball team account working feverishly to get as many fans to attend as possible.
With it being a bye weekend for a disappointing football team, fans are going to want to feel positive about something. What better way than with a victory over a likely 1 or 2 seed in Purdue, who should probably repeat as Big Ten champion.
