The Christmas Day sleeved uniforms were quite the hot topic of discussion for NBA fans on Wednesday, and while most (and by most, I mean all) of the chatter was negative, it was the latest chapter in the evolution of basketball uniforms.

For better or worse, uniforms have come a long way since the 1950s where thick polyester was the norm. What was once a trend in the 1970s with headbands is popular again while we are all still trying to erase the memory of Larry Bird in short shorts all these years later.
