Everything to know about Bears 2022 training camp

Training camp is officially underway for the Chicago Bears, as veterans reported to Halas Hall on Tuesday. Rookies and quarterbacks started arriving back on Saturday. The first practice of the summer is scheduled for Wednesday.

This will mark the third time the Bears will hold training camp at Halas Hall after 18 years practicing at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, which left many fans feeling disappointed about the move.

Here’s the training camp schedule from ChicagoBears.com, which features 11 practices open to the public.

Fans will need a free ticket for entry to one of the team’s 11 public practices between July 28 and Aug. 20. Unlike last year, there wasn’t a lottery to win tickets for those practices.

Tickets were made available on Thursday, July 7 at 10 a.m. CT. Fans can select up to four tickets per date, based on availability. All tickets will be distributed as mobile tickets.

There will be three deadlines for roster cuts with the first two consisting of just five players while the final roster cut is more severe.

Here’s when the Bears will have to trim their roster:

• 85 players – after first preseason game

• 80 players – after second preseason game

• 53 players – after third preseason game
