Every player in Philadelphia 76ers history who has worn No. 41

It’s summertime in the NBA, so it’s time to learn some history. The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the older franchises in the NBA. Their history dates to the 1949-50 season.

With that longevity, the team has had hundreds of players come through the City of Brotherly Love. Sixers Wire looks at the No. 41, which has been worn by seven of those players in the history of the franchise.

This running series will go through all of the uniform numbers worn in franchise history. The previous edition of this series was a list compiling the 12 players who have worn the No. 42.

Here is the list of those seven players who have worn No. 41 in Sixers history:

Greg Stokes, 1985-86

Stokes played in 31 games for Philadelphia while donning the No. 41 uniform, and he averaged 4.1 points and 1.8 rebounds.

LaSalle Thompson, 1995-1996

Thompson played in 44 games for Philadelphia, including 11 starts, and he averaged 1.9 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Sixers.

Kebu Stewart, 1997-1998

Stewart, in the white jersey in the above photo, averaged 2.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15 games in the 1997-98 season for the Sixers. He did not play in the NBA again after that season.

Antonio Lang, 2000

Lang, to the left of Allen Iverson as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the above photo, played in only three games for the Sixers. He averaged 1 point and 0.3 assists.

Anthony Miller, 2000-2001

Miller played in one game for the Sixers in the 2000-01 season. He did not record any stats and he played two minutes.

Jabari Smith, 2001-2002

Smith, playing for the then-New Jersey Nets in the above photo, played in 11 games for the Sixers in the 2001-02 season donning the No. 41 uniform. He averaged 5.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in those games.

Thomas Robinson, 2015

Robinson, the No. 5 pick of the 2012 NBA draft, was acquired in the 2014-15 season after he was waived by the Denver Nuggets, who had acquired him in a trade. He played 22 games for the Sixers, and he averaged 8.8 points and 7.7 rebounds off the bench.
