Both sides of the ball are getting in on the early-season blowout fun for the Bills.

The defense has done things the 2000 Ravens have accomplished. The offense seemingly just can’t miss and have quarterback Josh Allen back in the MVP discussion.

But wait.. actually, scratch that, also helping out? Those special teamers, namely kicker Tyler Bass.

Heading into Week 5, Bass is \the leading scorer in the NFL this season. In total, Bass has scored 44 points.

That comes on the heels of a 4-for-4 game just last week against the Houston Texans for the kicker.

In addition, according to NFL statistician Mike Haim, Bass has 185 points in the first 20 games in his career so far.

Since 1950, that figure gives Bass the second-most points by any player in that time frame. The only other to exceed that is kicker Harrison Butker.

Speaking of whom, Butker is the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo’s next opponent.

For those wondering, Butker’s first 20 game weren’t that long ago, either. He accomplished that 210-point feat between 2017 and 2018.
